Lake Glenbawn State Park has some of the most beautiful walking trails in New South Wales. Walk the foreshore, the dam wall, or along other signposted trails of varying lengths and difficulty levels in the park that can be enjoyed by all ages.
Water Sports
With its crystal-clear waters, Lake Glenbawn is an ideal spot for water sports. Visitors can enjoy kayaking, canoeing or stand-up paddle boarding around the shoreline. Power boating is also allowed on the lake (near the boat harbour), however a speed limit of 10 knots per hour must be observed to protect visitors and wildlife from danger.

The Lake Glenbawn Holiday Park is the perfect spot to kick back and relax after a long day exploring. The park offers cabins, caravan sites, camping grounds and facilities for outdoor activities. Visitors can also enjoy a range of amenities such as BBQ areas, and boat ramps, playgrounds and tennis courts. Visit Scone Golf Club
Scone Golf Club is located just a few minutes from Lake Glenbawn and offers an 18-hole championship golf course. The club has recently undergone extensive renovations, resulting in an improved layout that is suitable for players of all skill levels. After a game, enjoy the spectacular views over the lake and countryside from the clubhouse before sampling some delicious fare at the onsite restaurant.
Yes, swimming is allowed in certain areas of Glenbawn Dam. However, visitors should adhere to the signage and obey all safety regulations when swimming at the lake.
