Reflections Boambee Creek Reserve is all about having fun in the great outdoors. What kind of fun, you may ask? Here are a few things to do at Boambee to get you started ….

1.Explore the river in a kayak: Change Adventures offer kayaking and canoeing experiences at Boambee Creek. Hire by the hour or go on an eco-tour.

2.Swim in the shallows: perfect for little ones, or just for cooling off, the safe and shallow swimming areas are ideal for a splash. Floating gently on the lilo works a treat too.

3.Launch your boat at the ramp: explore the picturesque waterways by boat, canoe or jet-ski.

4.Go fishing: enjoy the fantastic fishing for bream, whiting and flathead. You can even purchase an annual key for out-of-hours fishing.

5.Get cooking: fry up your catch of the day at one of the many free BBQs.

8.Grab a bite: enjoy lunch or coffee and cake at the on-site café.

9.Go birdwatching: take time out to watch the many birds that call the reserve home.

10.Have a picnic: find a shady spot on the lush green grass, or make the most of the many picnic tables for an alfresco feast.

14.Build a sandcastle: get down with the kids and start digging on the vast sandy area.

15.Just breathe: bring your chair, a hat and relax with a book in these tranquil surroundings.

Time flies when you’re having fun, so your day at Reflections Boambee Creek Reserve will be over before you know it. And whilst you can’t stay the night at Boambee (camping is not permitted), there are several Reflections Holiday Parks nearby that are ideal for overnight stays.

That way, you can come back to Reflections the very next day and perhaps tick a few more things off this list. You can also reserve a shelter at Boambee Creek here.
